Over a period of six months participants are given a safe and sacred space in which to explore, reflect and share their own experience of their relationship with God. Themes such as images of God, images of self, the spiritual journey and personal call are explored.
This course forms the first stage of the Art of Spiritual Accompaniment training as well as being a stand-alone experience.
Commitment and requirements
There are 10 one day sessions 9.45am to 4.30pm and a two day retreat. Because of the nature of the course participants are expected to commit to attending all sessions.
There are no academic or educational requirements
Within the course a sacred space is created for a small group of a maximum of 9 people in which the mornings are in silence and include a time of prayer and reflection, sharing in listening threes, reflection in sharing groups. Afternoons explore themes such as images of God, and the spiritual journey.
The course fee is £520 per person which can be paid in instalments. Please do not let the cost prevent you from applying. Participants are encouraged to ask their church to contribute to their fees.
