Deep & Wide: Thriving as a mixed economy church

The Diocesan Development Day looked at how we can develop a mixed – or blended – economy in which both traditional and fresh expressions of church can thrive. The flourishing of both fundamental approaches to church offers us a way to reach out creatively to the full breadth of our society. The workshops included opportunities to look at this with different age groups, in relation to different church traditions, and specifically with respect to Messy Church (one of our most common Fresh Expressions in this diocese).
