Grants for Godly Play

Mutual Blessings has been given generous donations from the Anglican Diocese of Sheffield and the Sheffield Church Burgesses Educational Fund which means they can give financial support to those developing a Godly Play ministry.

The money must be used within the Diocese of Sheffield (which is South Yorkshire and the area around Goole) but it is available for all denominations.

Grants of £150: 

These are available towards Godly Play 3 day training

For: People in the Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster and Goole areas (all denominations)

To attend: 3 day training at the place and time of your choice

Deadline: There is no deadline. Grants will be allocated on a rolling basis.

Grants of up to £400: 

These are being distributed to more than 10 churches for Godly Play resources are available for churches in the Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster and Goole areas who are developing, or wanting to develop, a Godly Play ministry. All are encouraged to apply, but priority will be given to churches doing some work with schools or community outreach.

Further support: local Godly Play trainers are available to provide specialist support to churches seeking to develop their Godly Play work.

The next funding round begins in 2017.
