A Place Actively Seeking to Engage with Children and Teenagers

Part of the bank of parish support resources in response to Mission Action Planning (MAP) process.

People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” (Mark 10: 13–14)

From Anecdote to Evidence says "There is an urgent need to focus on children, young people and their parents and a challenge to identify how the church can best invest in people, programmes and strategies which will encourage young people actively to continue exploring faith." (p26)
